This is a breaking news. An FIR has been filed against actor Aamir Khan and others as per a news report in Times of India and also in India Today. 

As per the report an FIR was lodged against the actors after locals objected to a scene in which a man dressed as Lord Shiva was pulling a rickshaw in which two burqa-clad women were sitting. Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani and other actors were shooting in Chandni Chowk for their forthcoming movie PK (“Peekay”). It is heard that this movie is a satire on “God and godmen”. 

As per the news report, a police official said, “We lodged an FIR under section 295 A (injuring or defiling place of worship with intent to insult the religious of any class) and 153 A of Indian Penal Code (IPC) (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language) against the actors”. 

It is really strange why Lord Shiva was being depicted in the shooting in that way? The scene at the shooting place was depicting an actor dressed as Lord Shiva was pulling a rickshaw in which two burqa-clad women were sitting. Why have they depicted the act this way? And why have they not shown instead, Lord Shiva being carried away by two burqa-clad women in a hand-driven cart? The intention of the filmmakers behind this idea does not seem to be fair. 

These actors, directors, and producers can go to any extent for getting publicity to their films. They are publicity hungry. They try to create all sort of brouhaha before releasing their movies. But the people are no more gullible today. The people are smart and they can understand the dubious intentions. 

In the past painter MF Husain also depicted the Hindu Gods and Goddesses in nude in the name of artistic freedom. And this person gets awards like Padma Shri. This is a shame. But no freedom is free. It comes at a price. And there is no absolute freedom. 

The name of the film PK (“Peekay”) does not appear to be a misnomer. It appears to be a correct name. Only people in a “Peekay” state (drunkard state) will do the above irreligious act. 

And before it is too late, the people must understand the devilish intentions and evil designs of these three idiots - lights, camera, action.
